Ahmedabad-based Tirex Chargers to Boost EV Charging Station in Kerala

Kerala Electric Board has partnered with manufacturer of electric car chargers to set up 29 EV charging stations across the region.
Tirex Charger, a major manufacturer of electric vehicle chargers (EV), has partnered with Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL) to establish a network of EV charging stations throughout the region.
Tirex will build 29 electric car charging stations in Kerala in partnership with KSEBL, each with multiple charging stations and charging capabilities for both AC and DC.
“On average, the EV charging stations we deploy in Kerala are compared to a petrol station.” Typical EV charging stations usually include one or two four-wheel charging point, which is bad for users and leads to long lines. Our charging stations will be India’s first to provide a few four-wheel drive, two-wheel drive, and large electric vehicles. “The 29 stations will have 200 electric car charging ports,” said Arth Patel, founder and CEO of Tirex Charger.
Tirex was contracted to build 29 electric car charging stations. The company is also looking at establishing charging stations in other provinces. Twelve of the 29 electric car charging stations planned for Kerala have already been built.
“This partnership with Tirex to install charging stations in Kerala is part of our overall strategy to make Kerala a world of electric cars. These stations will not only help those who have already bought electric cars, but will encourage others to do the same. We will be able to reduce car pollution in our province. Kerala Industry Minister P Rajeev said earlier this week at the opening of one of the charging stations. KSEBL chairman and director Dr. B Ashok, along with KSEBL directors R Suku and V Murugadas, were present at the opening of the station.
About 1,800 electric wheels, 1,500 electric wheels, and more than 2,000 electric wheels are found in Kerala. Tirex has partnered with GOEC Autotech to build a special smartphone app for electric car owners. The app will list all 29 electric car charging stations and their current availability.
Tirex Chargers is a pioneer in the field of electric car charging and is one of India’s most reliable original equipment manufacturers. The four-year-old company, which recently received a $ 2 million crore grant, has already built more than 200 electric car charging stations across the country. Tirex supplied NTPC with 3,800 kilowatt electric car chargers and cooperated closely with Finnish company Fortum.
